Soon as I figure out what colour of FX4 I'll be getting, I will have to dig into getting me one of these.

I've got one of my truck..its about a 98% match. I think the scale is 1/18. If I remember I'll try to bring it to the meet this Sat. But I think most of the guys there have already seen it.

I built one to replicate 'Leadfoot Lighning's' ride. Had to do a lot of mods to the kit...Cervini hood, tonneau, NOS, billet rearview mirror, seat-belt pads, ect ect ect. Haven't messed with models for a bit...still have an F-150 Nascar truck to do...someone has been VERY patiently waiting. I also did a rep of my truck, down to a scale Tim Horton's coffee cup in the console. :icon_lol:

^^^ Is your Ranger an X-cab? There's no kit available, that I know of, other than reg-cab step-side & regular short box. You could use 2 cabs to do an x-cab, with a fine saw, and some patients.

This was a fun build. The interior lights in the trailer are operational, batteries are in a tool box. Torches, engine hoist, ect. are homemade.

And yeah, I could paint a Lightning Sonic blue, and you assemble it.:icon_biggrin:

I've got a model of a 97 F150 reg cab but its got the v8 motor and an 8' box so its not an exact match to my truck but it was all I could find. I haven't found the time to put it together yet.

A couple summers ago, we went for a drive, had to take a pit stop so got off the 401 and headed south.
On the way back to the 401 I noticed the place and stopped in. Great place if you are into diecast. I am on their mailing list.
A + they are Canadian!!

Shorten it! Cut the front of the box and shorten the frame. I chopped the front of the box, using the Lightning frame as reference. Do you have an air brush?
