17L/100kms highway = roughly 16mpg
that's mostly highway with a bit in the city..

I get about 550 kms to 95 litres.. 4-450 highway and the rest city..

edit..

Not sure the L/100km but I've been averaging 17MPG highway/city with a lot of warm-up time this winter. My truck has the 4.2 V6. Based on what some others get I have terrible gas mileage for a V6.

City ~18L/100k

I have the 5.4 and I get...

450-500km per 100 litres of fuel (87) *Highway* &
400-450km per 100 litres of fuel (87) *City*.

However I have a fairly heavy foot.:icon_twisted: I have also gone to the dealer and had them do a fuel milage test and it says I am running within Ford acceptable peramitters.

Just wondering what everybody here gets per tank?
I get around 500km per tank "5.4L 4x4 SuperCrew 114L tank" and that is a pretty consistant HWY/City mix.

Ya know, not that I can endorse it or anything, but Hypertech has new product out called Max Eco. A programmer that does tire size, axles, shift firmness etc etc but with the tuning part is geared to maximum fuel economy with reg fuel. Not a performance based product. I think thats what someone told me anyhow

his would be 98L, not 92......and if his truck is brand new (not broke in yet) I'd say he's full of Sh#t. Especially in the winter time. Maybe all on the highway, steady rpm's and not driving too fast. I've owned enough chevy's to know!
If he has really tall gears like 3.55's or taller......he'd maybe be getting close, but not with 3.73's.

It varies for me from around 450 to 950kms to a tank. I have the 135L tank.

When I was heading to Vancouver from Hudson's Hope I stopped for Fuel in Cache Creek, which is I think in the neighborhood of 800kms and I had a little under a quarter tank left.

Also on a trip to from Edmonton, I fueled up in Edmonton and driving 120-130km/h between Edmonton and Grand Prairie, and then roughly 110-115km/h from GP to hope I had a little over a 1/4 tank left and thats a 600km trip. On the highway my truck seems to sip the fuel pretty good.

However, if there is lots of accelerating or any hot dogging, my fuel economy goes in the toilet. I've had an indicated 21.5mpg on the highway in Alberta all the way down to a 11mpg in the city ripping around, so its a double edged sword.

A friend of mine has an 06 F-150 with a 6" lift, 20" wheels and 35's and he said that adding an intake and an exhaust made a huge difference in his fuel economy.

a pic I snapped after a fill-up when the truck was still pretty fresh:D

The New HyperTech Max ECO has been delivering some great results. It tunes to maximize fuel economy and comes with a recalibration to adjust for tire size and trans shift. We tried them first and got anywhere from 3% to 17%.

I got 19 mpg on the highway.I never really checked city mileage.
New truck is 2008 FX2 with 5.4 engine and 3.55 gear.
