I'm thinking Lighting..
They sucks @$$ with all this wet roads..
I think it got worse when I installed the leveling kit.. but only when the roads are wet.. When they are dry.. it's fine..
I don't have fogs either..
I'm thinking of swapping my factory chrome bumper for a paint to match one with fogs..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-OEM-FRONT-BUMPER-W-FOG-PAINT-TO-MATCH-06-07-F150_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33640QQihZ013QQite mZ230141993913QQtcZphoto
http://i22.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/a2/57/d565_1_b.JPG
Then putting in some good fogs..
Maybe doin this also!
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee229/viper238/my%20f150/bull_bar_black.jpg
But I do plan onblacking out my headlights.. When the weather warms up though!
And maybe doing a Hid projector retro in the headlights.. but that'll def be after.. since it's $$$..

lmao...my whole truck is a project. Need some body work, paint job, new tires soon, stereo, tinted windows, I could go on for a while. But getting it on the road is the first project (only an exhaust left to do). The other things aren't needed to drive it, just to look good.:icon_biggrin:

And some efans but not sure if I'll go with a kit or build my own kit with some junk yard efans and controllers.

I know you're saying..."but dude that won't fit on a 4.2L" It will if you buy or make the adapter plate. supersixmotorsports has the palte but they want $900 US for it. Going to see if my buddy the "mad scientist" can fab one up for me. Of course I'll ahve to get other stuff like a bigger Maf, TB, injectors etc... but this is all next year or the year after.

WILL be finished soon for sure:
Well for now as most of you know I'm waiting on my new 17" Ultra Black Thunder wheels with my Mickey Thompson 35" MTZ's. New set of lights for my top roll bars(thinking of relocating light bar to middle or front rollbar)
What my truck needs
-Back bumper or get it straitend out(same reason as v.v.v.v.v.v.v)
-New tailgate or fixe old one(victim of a jack knifed trailer, not by me by the way)
-Fix fog light (victim of a car backing into me after pulling him out of ditch)
-reapolster the seats

well for the truck i tihnk ill be into the leveling kit, possibly rear leafs. OR ill do abit of cosmo mods...such as black billet grill, bull bar,.
so for outside my truck, my M3 is in need of new control arms, tires, and bushings on diff/tranny/motor. got to get it ready for AutoX season.
As for outside my current cars, im looking at buying a old 1986-1991 Bmw, 3 series (ill end up doing a engine conversion) OR ill go with a MK2 VW golf or 2 dr jetta with a slighty modded GTI engine (intercooler, bigger turbo, and lighten the whole thing up)
i know its lots of plans, but they dont have any time limites, so i got time.
too bad this temp house we just moved into has a TINY ass garage, which sucks for projects.

Matt -- I would like to do all the exhaust mods at once since I don't have a garage to work in I have to arrange time with a friend in Thorold to use his, plus his tools and expertise. I'll know tomorrow if he can fab up the piping for it. I figure with the cats and the cherry bombs I may get 8-10 HP. With all the mods I listed I'd love to get an extra 50 RWHP from it, ok not counting the S/C. They might get me up to 200HP. Right now using just the 1/4 mile method of calculating HP I figure right now I'm making ~147-150HP at the wheels. Before I even start adding the mods I'm gonna take it to Chandlers to get a base line dyno run.

Well after discussing things with my friend "the mad scientist" it looks like theres either a turbo or a twin turbo in the future for the green turtle. But it may take a year or two. We took a good look at the roots blower he had on hand and with the adapter plate needed to mount it on my motor it looks like there won't be enough clearance at the back of the motor. The part of the firewall where the wiper motor is located is in the way.

Planning to install the headers this weekend.
Well the headers are in, although I have a nasty leak at the passenger side collector and maybe some others that I can't hear yet. For some unkown reason the header will not match up to the collector on the passenger side but the driver side mated up rather easily.
It looks like a trip to Zorro's tomorrow for some tweaking.

So I went to Zorro, they cut the pipe in front and behind the precat, put a piece in to change the angle of the collector flange, welded it back in, bolted it back up and sent me on my way. About 1 1/2 hours , $130 bucks and the truck sounds and runs great!

Ok today I installed the new side mirrors to my ranger... The other looked like crap, and would have to be readjusted everytime I closed the door. These are more sporty, and I installed the turn signals to flash the LED's in them. I didnt install the blue lights as Im afraid it would be illegal, so they only flash white...

Well...the time has come to pay attention to the ford....escape...yes, our 2002 oldie but a goodie. So far have H.I.D. headlights installed and the matching fogs are making their way here as I type. Also have a light bar and 4 lights (150watt) for the roof. Need tires so there goes another 750 bucks shortly. I have 2 lower control arms on their way as well and a passengers wheel bearing to. They should all be here this week. A 2inch lift kit is being sourced out along the way...if anyone has any ideas, feel free to email me on sources at nizzlejr@gmail.com...it would be very helpful. I would like to see a locker avail for the Dana....but I'm not crossing my fingers. (I do know I can get a posi for 700...locker is more fun).... I'll post some pics as I go... also, I am replacing my safari bar with a Black Horse push bar..the lights are getting the upgrade on the front 2 with the PIAA 525 series....so if all goes well, It should be mostly completed in a few months to go play. :) ...(on a side note, I just towed with a combined weight of 9300LBS from London Ontario to Edmonton Alberta...through nothern ontario....in the winter...lol...no issues what so ever.

With mine, pretty much everything has been put on hold right now due to money and time constraints. I do have a fair bit planned for this summer though:
¤ get the snorkel done. PVC pipe running inside pass fender and mounted under the cowl. I don't want it sticking out and I don't need it for anything extreme, just more to give me splash protection that the OEM intake doesn't.
¤ finally get a winch bumper built. Front receiver hitch will be trimmed down and kept as a crossmember to keep the front stiffened up, but I'll no longer have a need for it specifically. I'll be building an aftermarket front skidplate too.
¤ rear bumper. I crunched it in after backing into a light post I didn't see the other day, so it's getting replaced with something stronger. Most likely 4" c channel steel with lights installed inside of it.
¤ finish off my front suspension - limiting straps and install the airshocks.
¤ eventually, I want to flat deck the truck too but this will take a bit because I want to build it out of aluminum, complete with storage boxes mounted on the sides.
I guess we'll see as to how much gets completed this year, but I'm hoping to get a majority of it done. LR
