New Bumper Time

Well at today had a pretty rough start. On the way to work i decided to let the person signalling in front of me into the lane, and then shortly after he slammed on the brakes. So long story short i couldnt stop in time and hit his rear bumper, and now i need to replace my grille guard and front bumper. Most of the damage was from my grille guard but at the end of the day i now get to upgrade to new stuff. So i was looking around a bit today, and found some of the road armor stuff. I want to upgrade my front bumper to something a bit more "sturdy". I was curious if there is anything out there besides the one road armor piece. Or if there is someplace i can get a better price on it than some of the local shops.

I like the looks of the Road Armour, kinda makes it look like something outta Mad Max. :icon_lol: Theres always ebay or craigslist.

Ya the only other one i liked was some of the buckstop stuff but they dont have anything for the 04-08 f150. Road armor seems to be the only place i can find an aftermarket piece for my truck. So im pretty sure ill end up going with them, and eventually id probably put on the rear bumper as well. But for now it looks like its going to be the raptor front bumper, and i think im also going to upgrade my brake and do the SSBC Short Stop kit. Ive always felt that my trucks brakes were abit weak with the 35's, i guess today proved that a bit.

anyone have pics of the road armor? ive never seen them before. and those bumper guards or bush guards dont protect you? i want to get one for that purpose lol. hmm.

I will have pics soon enough of road armour my boss just put a front winch bumper and back bumper in this week on his lifted 05 F250 6.0L....I get the old winch and bumper for my F250 work truck yuppi!!!

You can check out the road armor site for some pics. www.roadarmor.com and if you go into the ford section im probably going to be getting the raptor front bumper. Im just trying to find out if they are able to add a grille guard to it.
