Does anybody know of a decent front lift kit available for an '07?
National 4WD can't find one anywhere.
If I have to do it myself I think I'll just order bigger gas shocks, maybe crank the torsion bar. From what I gathered from the internet, the shocks in my ranger are like a coil over but use a pneumatic spring concept inside. Are there any problems with getting longer shocks? The front tires will be closer together and all and I might need bigger bump stops, maybe an alignment but I can't find any major problems.

The only option you have at this time is a body lift

Yes with allot of grinding
You do have to modify 01 kit, do to front drive line position

i talked to a guy with a 4" superlift from a 01-05, in his 07, and i asked him, did you have to do any modifications... and he said nope, bolted right up. just the front driveshaft was replaced with the superlift d/s. the RCD kit requires you to change yer rotors, to a smaller size that came on the 01-05 rangers

Yes and agree, you need more parts than just a lift
The best way would be to PM Blackstock, They will tell you if it will work for you. I looked at front driveshaft on them, on the hoist and you can't just throw a lift on it. More parts are involve with it and that will include drive shafts and supports for them

For a good quality lift I'd go with either Superlift or RCD. You'll be looking at $1600 + for the kit depending on what you get, but you get what you pay for. Don't forget to order a new front driveshaft too as the stock one will prematurely wear out... This goes for which ever kit you buy.
Good luck and post up some pictures when you get it done... I haven't seen a 06'+ Ranger with a lift like that on it yet around here... should look amazing when it's all said and done. :worthy:

Both RCD and superlift make nice kits for Rangers. I've had the RCD in mine for 2 years now and it been a good kit. The RCD has support gussets that need to be welded in place, its minor welding for any shop, other wise there both bolt on kits. The RCD comes with a drive shaft spacer, Superlift offers a drive shaft separate from the kit or you can have your stock one lengthed or i think a spacer will also work with that kit(not 100% sure on that). As far as the RCD, it will work in 07/08 if rotors are swapped. Both kits are very pricey in Canada, I went to the states to buy and saved alot on mine, my cousin and I installed it. If you are some what close to a shop in the states its more than worth it to buy there.

From what I can tell anything 2002+ will work. in 2002 they increased the front rotor size and the knuckle slightly changed. That's why Super Lift offers different kits for 98-01 and 02+. if it were me and i was looking for a Ranger kit i would look at the RCD kits they make nice stuff and come with bilstien shocks as well

if someone checks this b4 they see the thread i made: superlift now makes a 4 inch 4x4 lift for the new rangers now... not sure if 09 is included as i only looked under 08s on the website cause thats what i have... sortin out the details with the shop as to total cost installed, rims , tires etc... hopin to have pics of it installed on my truck some time january... may keep stock 16 inch rims for the first few months to a year to cut initial cost of kit and install tho... sorry fellas
