I want a tonneau, but not sure of their cost.
I like the look of the hard cover but think it is not a one person removal if required.
Decisions eh? :icon_wink:

What is your truck? 97 XL
What do you have (Hard or Soft)? Truxedo Deuce Soft
Would you recommend it?
Well that depends, it doesnt lock but the reason I got this one was because the front 1/3 folds back giving access to the front of the bed without having to fold the whole thing up. Kinda pricey $1000 installed. But great support. When the installers messed up and the seals ripped cuz it wasnt installed right Truxedo sent me replacement parts at no charge.
I like it cuz it has the functionality I want.

What is your truck?
04 Ranger Edge Flareside.
What do you have (Hard or Soft)?
LoRider Hard.
Would you recommend it?
Not really. I got it off of Kijiji for $200. I'm not even 100% sure it is for my truck but it did come off of one like it. It doesn't fit exactly right and I had to trim the cover to get it where I wanted it. It also took the paint off of where it meets the box. Oh well that is what I get for cheaping out on it. Plus it won't hurt so bad if I end up hacking it up to get the front third to flip the opposite direction like f150phule's does. Or I may put a toolbox in the front and shorten it to fit behind it. Haven't decided yet.

What is your truck? 2004 F150 Supercab
What do you have (Hard or Soft)? Truxedo Low profile soft rollup
Would you recommend it? Definately, it was super easy to install. Works and looks great. Even though it isnt lockable, you cant really open it unless you pop the tailgate which is lockable. I got it cause i haul my dirtbike and my bro's quad around and a hard cover just wouldnt be practical. And it rolls up nice, has the little strap to keep it rolled up. Definately happy with it.

What is your truck? 9 Flareside
What do you have (Hard or Soft)? Soft Button on... dont know the name came with the truck used.
Would you recommend it? No because i use my truck for work and it is very awkward to get tools out of the front of the bed climbing up into the bed itself. I would prefer a hard top that can open.

I have a Freedom Trifold on my Ranger. It is great.
I had a Leer hard tonneau on my F-150, looked great (black on black), but was a complete pain in the a$$ sometimes. Any load higher than the box made things difficult and in the winter when the shocks were cold, if you weren't careful it would fall on your head

I dont think this is even possible with the way the cap has to sit on top of the bed rails. It might be possible for those hard roll up covers that fit between the bed rails and not on top. But you would have to drill holes in the bed rails to bolt down the cap. But that would be redundant since the bed is already covered with the tonneau. Its kinda like Why would you want to wear two hats at the same time.:icon_question:
No dumb questions here, asking is how we learn stuff.

I just installed my Advantage Torza Top (trifold soft). Install was super easy and I am very pleased with my purchase, keeping in mind I bought it yesterday.
