hey guys, since i jsut got my 94 f150 with the 5.8 liter, i want to start changing alot of the regular maintenance items.
i already put the new fuel filter, next up is the plugs and wires.
then im going to go the cap/rotor

my question is which plugs wires would be best to use for me?
i'v heard people say that some of the fords are picky on what they use...
so any advice is great!
thanks :D

I used autolite plugs in my 5.0L, gotem at NAPA, no complaints, work really well. As for wires...?motorcraft?...didn't change mine so I'm not to shure.
Good Luck:happy-smiley-541:

I just picked up MSD Street Fire wires for my 302 this weekend.
They were on sale for $45 at Performance Improvements, so I thought why not.
I installed Champion copper plugs.

Personally I like the autolite idea for plugs... Also, MSD is a really good wire from experience.

You cant go wrong with Motorcraft especially if its stock

and the modular motors tend to be picky with Bosh plugs some like them some don't, your 5.8L is not in that family of engines
