Do you need positive or negative for your controller
if positive you can pull it out of your rear break harness
If negative I think there is a limit switch beside your break pedal(or that maybe a positive)
but double check with a tester which one is positive wire

If you need a positive..
My resources are listing.. But always test with a Digital Multi Meter first.
BRAKE lt. green (+) at brake pedal switch

Often times that wire runs down the side of the vehicle under the carpet.
I have no listing for a negative.

I installed one on my 2007 Ranger and I spliced into the brake switch wire. Make sure you're splicing after the switch not before the switch or you're brakes will be on all the time. Brake controller works great, I pull a 17' Terry trailer with it.

This is what I used:

go to that site and click on vehicle wiring. I use this alot at work when I'm installing remote starts. Go to the switch above the pedal and solder in your connection. Those tap connectors are ok, but over time corrosion gets them.
