Need tail light idea's

reward for an idea i use for a tail light for my truck !! lol pullin my hair out trying to come up with something thats different but also DOT/MTO ok (dont want hassel or to be rear ended with all the $$ im sinkin into this truck haha)

thought of caddys cool but have been done to death.... LED strips would be cool but straight lines have also been done and boring....

comeing to the crunch on getting em in and bodyshop guy and myself are going nuts trying to fig out something to stand out....

the rollpan is steel could be mounted there....along with either side of navigator backup lights...in the factory location... have a wing from tauno-tails.com (very good quality reckomend them for purchase) going on the tauno edge could possibly mount on leading edge (line of LED's) but they need to be accesible to be replaced if they burnout

or anyone who can get me the LED tails from the new Caddy stationwagon id instal them just wont pay new price (over $650 new a piece from GM)

its a 2000 f150 reg cab short box, just about everything else is customized now were haveing a brainfart on the tails... doors are suiceded,tauno opens reverse hinged to the tailgate,everything shaved,rollpan,navi backup centre piece mounted in tailgate

Try to hide some LEDs in the slot inbetween your tailgate and roll pan, but you'll need to stick a reflector in there to for legals. Then possible stick a set of the little oval VW markers on the sides of the box for your side legallity, If the body man has time recess the VW markers a little like on the car.It should keep the tail looking smooth. What would you rather show off, the smooth body or someone elses tails? Just my opinion though.
