Hey
did some painting and a bit of body work this week, didn't go to a body shop because i needed to save the money.

i know the spots i touched it up are slightly noticable but they still look better than bare metal and rust. give me a few days to post the pics.

Here are pics:

bit of a story to it.. was thinking of touching up or repainting the hood, and that sprialled into doing the tailgate due to a small bit of rust as well as knowing that they rust a lot to repaint the entire hood and tailgate. said *** iit and repainted the grille black since it was off to replace the front bit that holds the headlights.
figured that the fender flares would look better black and help the tonneau cover fit in better as black. so i painted those as well. reinstalled my foglight ( no glass on it since it broke after i accidentally ran it over)

paint match isn't 100% and i know the touched up spots are noticable, but IMO it looks better than rust of bare metal.

Well done, did you get the paint mixed to match or found the color on the shelf?

the foglights... actually the passenger side is broken no glass covering it and the headlights are old, since they aren't too yellow i'm just going to keep them the way they are. i'm constantly looking for good foglights to replace mine. trying to decide projector foglights or foglights with reflectors in them.

and trying th find 4.5-5 inch foglights.

Looks great for a home done job. Many......Many years ago I painted one of my first cars with a roller and a gallon of Tremclad. If you use a fine roller its really not to bad. Good from far but far from good.
