How does the shaker work with the SC?
it just mounts differently then the n/a setup.
air goes in the scoop is pushed thru the hood and dropped on the filter

Seems like that may cause some serious turbulence?

Just seems like your forcing all that air to push the hood up and not really gaining anything power wise.

i didnt get it for power wise. i got it for looks and its functional. Gotta be better then drawing the hot air in from the engine bay.

Y 2 filters?
This is the first time I see this

it doesn't have 2 filters. Intake is all the same. There is a channel in the hood that the air travels threw and dumps over the stock filter location

This is a before shaker install

You can see that all i added was the shaker part the just bolts in the engine bay. No connecting to anything from before.

You can see in this pic where the holes for the air t travel thru the hood are located.
It is the exact same hood for a N/A setup just the mounting of the shaker is different

What I was trying to say is
Is this intake functional
Normally you would have filter under the shaker cover
and the air is drawn to the engine from outside
It looks like this one is different.

i get what your saying now. no it is not a True shaker i guess it only routes the air to the filter instead of having the filter inside the shaker part. I dont think the newer Mach1 had it like that. i think it would only happen on carb setup to have the filter in the middle of the engine.
