Managed to find a lift for it yet? I have found levelers for the front end, but they seem to go up to 06 only?
I googled and googled and dogpiled and nothing..

Yes there are lifts for 07 + They are not just bolt on. Both RCD and superlift make nice kits for Rangers

The Superlift should work as nothing has changed (that I know of) since 2005, and it is a bolt. The RCD is not bolt-on and also requires the smaller front brakes from earlier Rangers.

how much lift are you looking for?? there are some cheap ways to gain a few inches. I was going to buy the 4 inch Superlift with my bonus from work... until I worked it all out to roughly $4100 cdn installed after tax. four grand can go a long way on a rig and i didnt feel like spending it on a cheap (imo) lift. so i did some more looking around and found an easy way to gain 1-3 inches without using a bodylift...(i dont like bodylifts at ALL). the obvious for the front is to crank the tits out of your torsion bars, depending on how much lift you want. and for the rear you could either use add-a-leaf springs, or go find yourself some drop shackles for an 88-98 1/2 ton chevy truck, flip them suckers, and you got some lift... ill post up some pictures after i do mine on saturday

I cranked my torsion bars up a full 2" from stock and I'll be adding a shackle to the back end to bring it up 1".
I would definitely not recommend cranking the bars any further, the angles it creates on the cv joints are pretty steep even at a 2" crank...
The warrior shackles will gain you 1" or 2" on the rear and I haven't come up with an effective/affordable way to raise the front any more.

I have a '07 mazda B4000 and I just finished putting the RCD lift on this week-end! Although it is says it is only for 98-02 Rangers, it still fits the newer models without creating more issues:

It's a 4wd. The white grill comes off a B3000 sport. Some moron backed into the front of my truck this winter and broke it. When I went to get a new one, the dealer ordred the wrong part # and I ended up with a white grill instead. At first I was pissed, but now I think I like it better than the chrome one... so I might end up putting the crest back on this one instead!

Thanks! These pics were taken right after the lift was installed last weekend. The front now sits a bit higher since I squeezed about an inch more out of the adjustable coils...

Total lift of 6.25 inch in the front and close to 7 in the back. I do expect the back end to sag a bit so everything shoud be nice and even! :icon_wink:

Looks awesome...also, I like the look of the painted grill. The only thing I would have liked about the ranger over the mazda is that they have no chrome. I like the painted bumpers and grills.
again, that lift looks outstanding. I would be curious to the final dollar figure aswell. Also the welding you had to do was just the shock mounts on the front?

Thanks guys!
I was also looking at getting new bumpers, so the whole chrome thing will be gone! :icon_wink: Anyone knows of a nice winch bumper for my truck? I could build one (already did one for a Nissan Xterra) but I don't really feel like getting into that again... :icon_redface:
The final $$ was a bit under 2800$... Got 25% off on the RCD kit (my friend owns a 4x4 shop) and I did the install myself in his shop over the weekend, so it was free. I also had the tires already from a previous project, so the only thing I needed to buy were new rotors and rims, and I got a pretty good deal on the rims as well! :icon_wink:
If I had to pay full price for everything including the install, it would have been a bit over 5000$... so I basically did it for half the price! I don't think I would have gone this route if I had to fork out 5Ks...:icon_sad:
And yeah - the welding was only reinforcment brackets for the shock mounts!

I love it! That's the ideal lift for one of these trucks as far as I'm concerned, Good and high but not ridiculously so!
Easy install, minimal welding, good price. Sounds like I'm going to have to start saving for the 5" RCD kit.

I wouldn't say it was an easy install...:icon_confused:
It took me and a friend alomost 20 hours to complete in a fully loaded garage, and we are quite experienced mechanics. The fact that my truck was fairly new (less than 1 year old) probably helped a lot as well. Most of the original hardware needs to be re-used when installing the kit so it needs to be pulled out gently so it remains in good shape, a thing that might no be easy on a 3 or 4 year old truck. You can always get new hardware, but I'm sure that wouldn't be cheap.
I must admit I was quite impressed with the instructions and the packaging work done by RCD. Every part was clearly marked and all the hardware was sorted out in little bags tagged to match the steps in the instruction booklet. The instructions themselves were clear and easy to follow and I never had to "guess" what they were trying to say. They even included a list of common problems you might come across or errors that are commonly done to help you avoid them. I've worked with lift kits quite a few times before, and I've never seen instructions as complete and easy to understand as these.
