I do and I love it

Linex did my in Bolton

Took them 2 hrs and now I don't have to look for scratches under the bed liner (that was driving me nuts)

Thanks for the quick reply. We have a couple of places near where I live that offer this. I know the price varies by thickness, etc., but how much does this cost?

Excellent, thanks!

Certainly worth the price. The bed on my 2000 Ranger is pretty chewed up and I don't use it for work.

Just had mine done, price was a bit better, but it varies with box size.
I also loosened all my bed bolts, and had them remove them while spraying - it makes it easier if you ever need to take the bed off (ie if you need access to your gas tank sending unit) and also removed the tie downs for them and replaced them after they were done.

I saw a truck the other day that had been sprayed with some type of truck liner and it was peeling all over the sides and truck bed, what kinda of guarantee comes with the liner?

I got my 2008 Ranger Rhinolined (sprayed) at Hitch City in Mississauga...$518 (less $25 coupon from RhinoLiner website) plus tax. So far really satisfied and there is a lifetime warranty from the manufactuer (USA). Looks exactly like SWRWZ's...not sure if they are the same chemically...but the manufacture on the website claims that the US military uses it on their vehicles in Iraq against IEDs explosions...should be good for my everyday use!!!

I got a one-piece insert liner with my truck from the dealer when I bought it.

But one day in the spring of '03, I was browsing through Canadian Tire when I saw a DIY kit from Rhino - two cans of product that you mix together and then spray/paint/roller onto the pickup bed. The kit was on sale - I think about $50.00 at that time, so I picked it up.

So, on the next sunny weekend, armed with a bunch of cheap paint rollers and brushes that I got from the dollar store, I mixed up the liner kit and rollered/painted it on the pickup bed. Took a couple of hours, and wasn't difficult - if you can paint, you can do this.

It doesn't have the completely finished look of the professional spray-on shops, but it looks OK - a roller brush finish. There was enough material to double coat the bed, so the thickness of the liner is probably comparable.

So talk about redundant - I've got a "paint-on" liner, and on top of that, a one piece bedliner insert. Every spring I take off the insert and wash out the bed - the paint-on liner is holding up well. The original paint on the bed isn't being scratched, with the risk of rust starting that that involves.

I think that if you were constantly dumping stuff like gravel/bricks/rocks/dirt, etc. directly on a spray/paint-on liner and shoveling it out, that you would end with pitting/peeling eventually.

But with a lifetime guarantee, or if you manage to pick up a kit on sale like I did, it's still worth it to put one on. And for sure, it looks and wears better than just a coat of paint that gets scratched up, with the end result being a rusting pickup bed.
