I have a 1990 F150, and want a solid axle for the front. From my understanding I thought early 80's Broncos had them. Was it only in the XLT Broncs?? I want to keep the coil springs in the front to make things a bit easier thats the reason for the Bronc as a doner. What years am I looking at to have a straight bolt in solid axle?

Early 80s Broncos have the same suspension/axle setup as your 90 150. A couple good sources of info for this swap are AdventureOffroad.ca and FullsizeBronco.com Good luck.
I have a d44 from my 79 Bronco thats for sale for $100 if your interested. It's missing the passenger side axle shafts. I still have to pull it and put my new one in.
