I replaced the Horns on my 2001 edge today, boy that was fun, horn is beside radiator behind the grille on the passenger side, what a PITA. Had to remove the front clip to get access to the horn, the clips that hold the bottom on are a real pain to remove. Not much room to work with there. I replaced it with a Flamm 135 decibel low tone highway horn, well worth it. bye-bye wimpy hightone horn.

I have been thinking about getting new horns for a long time. I want a nice low tone.....any chance we could get a sound clip??? Looked around and listened to tonnes of clips on the net but nothing has really caught my ear...lol

Sort of off-topic... I put both HI and LO tone Freeway Blasters on my motorcyle after too many close calls. I love surprising shitty drivers with a little blast when they're about to change lanes without seeing me. I sound like '70's Buick now.

Today at work I had my buddy park his 01 f-150 beside me so i hear my compared to the factory set up. He had the dual tone. The difference was quite noticeable.
I may get the high tone yet, but thats the same reason I got the new horn, was tired of people not paying attention. This horn definetley gets their attention!
