there are also pinch keys that will beat transponders, only trouble is it takes time. How long you ask? 20 seconds... The keys are hooked to a laptop computer and it only takes 20 secs to id the right transponder code... Viola, your car is gone, and being taken apart at the local chop shop....

At the end of the day there are essentially 2 types of thieves that are gonna steal your vehicle. The first is pretty much just the people who see an opportunity, and go for it. The second are the guys who are gonna be walking around with a laptop like was said to pull your codes and bypass everything. I would guess that the second kind isnt as common. And no matter what type of security you have in place, there is always a way to get around it, it just takes time.
