I upgraded my exhaust to MBRP SS-304 "cool duals", installed a AFE stage 2 in take, relocated my EGT sensor, and installed a Hypertech programmer (just at stage 1 for now) It was a busy weekend in the driveway, but all went well. I've no pics to post yet, but I'll see what I can do, I'm not to good at that stuff.
Truck sounds great now, having trouble keeping my foot out of it. This all started as a fuel mileage increase project. So far there is an increase in mileage, too soon to post any numbers but I will. Even with stage one on the Hypertech the truck drives nicer. Not a huge difference from a stop, but getting on the highway is much easier. Truck weighs in at almost 12,000 lbs in work trim. Real test will be this weekend when we pull the trailer, 32' and 11,000 lbs. I take the cap off when we pull the trailer, except when I shuttle it to storage.
Thanks to Al at Blackstock for getting me the parts very quickly.
