Comp Cams XE270AH Cams and upgraded springs
Forged crank
Manley H Beam Rods
Mahle Pistons
Compression ratio is somewhere in the mid-8's (for boost)

It's going to be a monster.

I really have no idea. The motor should make 275whp NA. Once I put the blower on after break-in it should be an easy 425whp.

OK today I finally bit the bullet and ripped the dash apart and installed the new stainless steel bezel, and white face blue glow guages. They look better than I ever would have guessed...

I also just ordered the newest Mod Chip for the Ranger, Its the Proformance Venom II, It s supposed to increase HP by 20, and milage by 7-12 MPG... Hope it works, and is worth the $300.00 price tag... I also Ordered a new larger air intake, again supposed to give more HP... Will keep you guys posted... I guess new tires can wait a few weeks.....

If they are long tubes and they fit I would go for it but 350$ for used shorties your probably better off just buying new, look around there are tonnes of different makes and all priced differently.

You won't get much performance difference with short tubes but they will wake up you exhaust. I noticed a big sound and power difference with my long tubes.

Took some measurements and fabbed up a cardboard template for cutting/bending the sheet metal. No timetable on when it will get done but hopefully before it gets too cold outside to work on it.

With a whipple on a stock 4.6, my tuner told me i would expect 428 rear wheel with a safe tune. Yours is stroked, forged and cammed so I would expect you would see 15-18 boost safely and should be close to 460-490 rear. Just my guess.

consider that you may need 60 # injectors.

sounds like it is going to be a fun build.

Lifting the ranger a bit for free since my moms bf wants to pay for it for xmas. So shackles and torsion bar crank. Found a nice set of 285/75r16 Goodyear MT/R tires with 1000km so I might get those

Was going to do gauges. Found a new pod and 3 gauges for $250 still going to get them but not till the end of the month. Something I was not really planning on doing was a tuner but got a killer deal on an Edge Juice with Attitude. Brand new in the box for $375. Also would like to lose the cat and maybe the muff and just run a straight pipe.

I'm going to move my stack exhaust close to the cab and cut the back off the box and move it further into the box to cover the exhaust piping. This should leave a nice space to fit the spare tire behind the window. Should look awesome.

Ordered a cheap cold air intake! I was gonna go with k&n but this one was so cheap I thought I'd give it a try.

I also ordered a Magnaflow muffler for the f150. Just the muffler as I couldn't see spending 5 or 600 just for their tail pipe that comes with the catback kit.

Got some shackles for the back and Firestone air ride bags coming soon. So a torsion bar crank will be involved then will need to look for bigger better tires and hope my truck warranty will still be good.

in my ranchero i had they broke in and stole my stereo,amps subs,and my alarm system!i then installed 2 dis coils to the door handle,the next goof that broke in left his thumb pad on the door handle,fried out half my ignition system but was worth it for the payback!!!
