it was time, so i picked up my new truck on sat...

some back ground, my old truck was 1990 GMC with 350,000 km on it:

thanks everyone, yes it is for work - driving to work, i bought it with the intent that i will have it for 10 - 15 years, so it will serve all and any of my needs for the next 10 - 15 years, push/pull/haul/tow or run over whatever i want :)

i actually have my first tow set up, father in-law needs his 24' Doral moved from Newcastle to Pefferlaw (ontario)

it was just the perfect storm for me, was looking at an '08 F150, with the intent for having it just 3 years and then stepping up to the Super Duty, but Ford is offer 0% - 60 month financing, so i had the dealer do a search and they found the exact truck that i would have ordered, so i pulled the triger and nows its mine

i also ordered new vanity plates that are more "super duty" specific - any guesses

arboc is cobra spelled back words, but r = racing, i had a small business at one time, the name was "arboc racing" and the plates were orginally installed on an '88 mustang gt, i also have a '96 svt cobra with "KOBRRA" and i have the plate "WNT2DRAG" it was on an '02 mustang gt

i cant keep it in anymore, my new vanity plate is:

Awesome looking truck. So far the only downside to these trucks is the mileage. Otherwise they are great trucks.

well i accept that going in, if i wanted mileage, i wouldnt have bought a SD, but considering that the truck is about 9000lbs or so, the mileage is not that bad

moving on, i just ordered the following parts:

Banks Monster Diesel Dual Exhaust
Banks Ram Air (back ordered)
Bully Dog PMT
Bully Dog PMT Custom Mount
Bully Dog 4-6" Exhaust Tip (2)
