Does anyone know where the best places to shop for parts and accessories would be.I found when buying stuff on ebay that it was cheaper to ship from the states than it was in canada.

Depends what you are looking for.
I have found rims and tires much cheaper in the US - even after exchange, shipping, duties and brokerage.
I have bought items from Ebay - but you have to be attentive and patient.
Shipping prices in the US are ridiculously low compared to Canada.

Tirerack.com is amazing.
They will price everything out including duty and GST.There's absolutely no worries with extra charges.
As for rims, there's plenty of places. Try here...

For rims and tires I actually found a place here in canada that has pretty awesome prices, plus free shipping. I got the rims for my lincoln there and they were alot cheaper than anywheres else, And about on par with most american sites. Check out www.kxwheels.com. As for performance stuff its all just a scavenger hunt, there are some local shops which give me pretty decent deals but some stuff i get through ebay.

We don't have much in the way of after-market mods on our trucks, we have some 'factory' upgrades on our 04 and 07.
The 04 has a hotchkis (sp?) suspension waiting to go on, painted door handles & mirror covers (don't like the rough black plastic look) the 07 has the Ford Lightining wheels and the factory nav system going on it, looking at the back up camera and the digital heat controls.
All the Ford parts we got from TASCA Ford, saved 2/3 the cost as to buy here in Canada, including the shipping and the duty charges via the post office!:icon_cool:

How much was the factory Nav unit and is it coming with synch???????

How much was the factory Nav unit and is it coming with synch???????
The unit is 1400, antenna is 60, disc is 170, in Canada the unit is just over 3000, antenna was almost 200 and the disc was 500, so huge savings. We didn't even get it when we ordered the truck, it was a 4300 option.
It's going to cost us well under 2000 total, plus shipping and install. No it doesn't have the sync, but it is the audiofile (sp?) unit with the blue tooth phone stuff, subwoofer control, etc..
