PRINCETON, IN (AP) - Toyota says it will shift production at its Princeton, Indiana, plant from the full-size Tundra pickup truck to the mid-sized Highlander sport utility vehicle.

It's part of a plan by the Japanese automaker to meet demand for smaller, more fuel-efficient vehicles.

Spokeswoman Kelly Dillon says the plant about 20 miles north of Evansville will suspend production of the Tundra and the Sequoia SUV from August 8th to November. Toyota also makes Sienna minivans in Princeton, but that line won't be affected.

Dillon says none of Toyota's roughly 4,500 employees in Princeton will be laid off.
