How much lift on that beauty? Thinking about doing mine, is 2 1/2 inch lift enough for 35's ?
I only have 4" on there right now and the 35's looks a little small. I'm going to step it up to 6"s and 37's soon though.
What year is your truck? You have have to do some trimming with only 2 1/2 inch's of lift. Unless its 05 or up then you'll be fine
Tetford4X4

im thinkin you might be able to squeeze on some 37's now.....might.. got to show us when you lift it more! my dad loves your truck too man

Yeah, mine's a 2006, so I'm told 35's will fit with the 2 1/2 inch levelling kit. You're right though, the wheel offset has to change from stock if the tires are wider - backspacing the same but a wider rim I guess.

I'm pretty sure it's the Warn Trasn4ormer Brush Guard, I stole it from my bosses big truck when he bought his Road Armour bumpers. I re-painted it and sent the winch in for repairs still waiting on the winch.....I also modified it to make the Brush Guard sit higher than normal so I can see it above the hood a little while driving :)
After I put on my Harley Lights the boss got jealous and made me order some for his truck, they just came in today....lol they will look nice on this bad boy, that's the bosses SD he never let's out of the garage...He has another SD for everyday work truck

I am not gonna lift mine at all Sean you have the right Idea by doing cutouts and stuffing the biggest tire you can because tires are the only thing that actually increases your ground clearence.
For mine its stock height and I have a set of 35x12.50 BFG MT KM2 ready to go on.

Blasphemy :icon_twisted:
If you are looking for initial axle clearance I agree but suspension lift offers more frame clearance so you you can keep going in deep snow or mud without having your frame and everything else attached to it bottoming out, dragging, or bringing you to a complete stop so easily, better wheel travel too, after market suspension usually have stronger parts. If you really get stuck and your initial efforts fail, it's time to dig out the FRAME and wheels:) And they just look awesome!!! Lift kits are definitely not Novelty items where I come from, even with smaller stock tires (just looks funny).

I agree that the aftermarket does make stronger parts no question about that. But from my personal experience that if you axles are under the mud or snow then you probaly are not going to be going to much farther. Depending of course on how sticky or thick of a situation you are in. is its just sloppy and loose (that sounds bad lol) then you can probaly pull through but sticky and thick chances are if your axles are under then you are going to be getting pulled out.
And when wheeling if your truck is way up in the air, yes you might have more flex and articulation but the higher center of ravity does not help at all on the trails or those off camber corners.
I am not saying a small lift is bad but when you get up into the 8" + then I don't see any benefit. up to 6" with a nice set of 38's would do you wonders.

Like the look of the grill. Anything have to be modded to make it fit right???
Had to cut the header panal for the headlights, other then that the bottom of the grill doesn't have a place to be secured without zap straps with the old header panal

I picked up a 2004 Ford F-350 King Ranch last night. It runs well but has a knock to the rear passenger door, down low where it flares out slightly. I'm taking things apart this weekend to find out if the location will make it easier or more difficult to repair myself. Other than that, a few knocks. The truck bed was well-loved but a spray-in box liner should take care of that.
Anyway, these are the only pictures I have so far:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2439/3727496626_e0e2cd939f.jpg?v=0
I have a few minor things I hope to fix up this weekend, then we'll see where we go from there. I'd like to find an affordable, but still good-quality lift - nothing major. I want it still drivable. :)

If you are getting stuff shipped from the US, always ask them to ship via USPS. They have an agreement with Canada Post and brokerage fees are minimal. Avoid UPS as they will rape you on brokerage fees.

Check the SCA levels in your coolant first off (if it's still got the green coolant in it), you want to keep that engine alive & healthy.

on the 5.4L, its the only truck Kentwood Ford had that i got approved for(26 yr old army mechanic with not quite good credit), but i fee like i shortchanged myself with such a large truck and a tiny engine(relatively speaking)

Wow, a lot of great looking trucks here, a bit embarrassed to post mine now . . .
Anyway here it is. 00' 350, 7.3, 6-spd. Picked it up completely stock from a Rancher in SW Alberta last April (2010), been happy with it since! Excuse the dents and dings, picked it up liked that thinking I'd have them fixed up ASAP, but eventually just started overlooking the imperfections haha! It's still a farm truck, so I'm sure they won't be the last marks.
