Hi All,
I just put in a set of Truxxx torsion keys in my '08 Ranger and the adjuster bolts are now too long and I would like to replace them. I know they have 13mm heads but what is the bolt size thread pattern and are those special hardened bolts or just plain Gr5? When I measure them with my calipers I get 11.89mm, is that a 12mm bolt? 2.5" of lift with them as low as they will go but what a ride improvement:icon_eek:. I also put Pro-Comp Add-a-leaves on the back, it actually rides like a truck now. I will post on MOTM when I get some pics,

You would have to measure the bolt and thread size but I personally wouldn't be using anything less than a Grade 8 bolt back in there along with some red lock tite on it
And how are the bolts too long, I would think that would be OK as long as long as there are enough threads

They hang way down now. With the new keys and my B torsion rods the keys are just sitting on the cross piece the bolts go in and the bolts are only screwed in enough to snug up against the keys pocket, blue locktite. I could probably just take them out but I don't want the threaded holes getting dirty. I could also cut them down but I would just as soon replace them and keep all the stock stuff just in case. I will post some pics tonight.
On a completely different note, I JUST GOT MY FIRST HOLE IN ONE!!!!! Michaelbrook Golf Club, #2, 145yds, par 3.

Sorry about the delay, life got in the way. So here's the truck as it sits and a shot of the bolt hanging out the bottom. Also a shot of the "carbon fibre" window tint I did to the newly painted canopy.

Nothing is wrong with it, I just prefer trucks without it, but thats just me, alot of people do like them, just throwing in my 2 cents! haha

I have 4 dogs and they like to go for rides and it is a lot easier with the cap on let me tell you! That is the old cap from my '92 Toyota that I traded to a friend to use on his S-10 in '97 and now had given back to me when he bought his new truck through a friend of mine. $300 for paint and a couple of small repairs and I think it looks pretty good on there.

I like a cap on a truck. Especially when it matches the truck paint... Saw a blue F-150 drive by me the other day with a bright red cap. That really didnt look good. Maybe he was just taking it home to paint it...
