Hey Guys,
What is the biggest tire i can put on my 2000 F150 4x4 with cranked torsion bars and a 3" body lift? Now i have 285/75/16 and they look kind of small!!!
Thanks for your help

I think 33's will fit, but you'll need wider rims. Check the lift manufacturer's websites, they usually tell you the max tire with each lift height.

I hope you have some quality mods......or your truck is going to be gutless with those big tires on there!

I have seen some guys running a 315/75/16 (34.6) on a 10" wide rim with 4.5" of backspacing, with the torsion bars cranked and a 3" body lift

I have exhaust and k&n filter with 3:31 gears and it doesnt seem too bad for power but i bet 4:10s would help!

they sure would. don't know why ford would gear a 4x4 so high? my 93 ranger had 3.31's also.

I had 35x12.5x17 Pro-Comp X-terrains on my truck until last month. I had a 3" PA body lift and my torsion bars turned up. I had to do a little trimming on the lower valiance and cut my factory "sport" mudflaps. I ran them on both the stock rims which rubbed the frame on full crank and on Motto alloys with probably about 1" more backspacing then the stockers and they didn't rub at all.
