Over bed rack.

I'm currently rockin a truxedo low pro, box cover. I really like the look, thats why i didn't go with a canopy. But, of course now I'm missing the space. Has anyone thought to make a rack above the cover? I've got a pic of what I'm trying to discribe. I'm a fabricator, so this is my first blueprint. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this idea.

That looks good, but how easy will be to open the cover???

well the holes in the bedrails do not interfere with the cover. and as long as i leave enough room for it to roll up, both should be totaly functional. also thinking of making the part over the tailgate removable, so i'll be able to have the back totaly open.
