What engine oil do you use and When?

So let us know what oil do you use, and how often do you change it

For me is Mobil 1 Synthetic and every 8k

i try to run mobil 1 when i can and changs every 5000km

I change the oil once each year in the spring.

So every 2,000 kms whether it needs it or not.

Mobil 1 Synthetic only.

Have not changed oil in the new truck. The old one got Royal Purple and a Wix filter every 3 months.

I used to use Mobil 1, however the amount of oil related issues i see on engines(that is regularly changed) is very few, i switched back to dino oil 5w20, I wouldnt waste my money on mobil unless I was racing or a short driver!

Used to run Castrol GTX High Mileage but last change switched to Royal Purple. Since I don't put a lot of miles on it I only change oil 2 times a year. Avg about 10000Km/yr so I feel safe only changing it 2 times. In warm weather I change it myself, in winter I pay the extra $$ to have a shop do it.

I take the Truck to the dealer every 5000km as part of the Lincoln warrenty, so whatever oil they put in it. In the Mustang I have been using Mobil 1 Synthetic the last three oil changes and I do it every 8000km or so.

I usually use royal purple in my truck, but the past 2 changes i couldnt get ahold of it when i had the free time so i did one on mobil 1 and the one i just did over the weekend is using redline synthetic.

Oh and for filter ive started using the K&N ones, i love the little nut they put on the end so it makes it easy to take off.
