This Engine will be producing 340 hp and at least as much torque, easily besting the present the F150's 300 hp 5.4L V-8.

sounds good, as long as the torque is low in the rpm range. we'll see if any numbers change in the next year or so.

I wouldn't say "easily best" the present 5.4. Sounds to me like it will be shy on torque. If they can even get it to match the 5.4's torque.....will be one thing. But I highly doubt it will produce it anywhere near as low in the rpm range!
I'll stick with my 5.4! With the mods I have and the fuel economy I can now get with it.......it will be tough to beat!
