that was a bird:icon_lol we got 8 today. saw 2 caribou but 1 was a female and the other wouldn't "show me". 2 porkies today too. bird season starts sept 1 and goes to nov 30.

yep fun is why i go. if i get something it's a bonus. i didn't even stop on the way home to shoot anymore birds. 575km today and used a little over 1/2 tank of gas...Incredible. I LOVE MY FORD!!!!!

That bird i'm holding is the one that i was shooting at. was hoping to see some ptarmigan. there are hundreds up there later in the winter, but alas only saw one....and it was dead on the side of the road. musta got hit by one of the 2 semis that we met up there. they are just starting to turn white now. stick out like a sore thumb against the ground. lol

Took a few today at work. Were cutting survey lines at the moment, if you look at the small opening at the top of the cliff that's one of our lines that goes past were I took the picture. Forgot my cameras when we were on top of the cliff though:violent104:

First one was taken on HWY 16 near Jasper last october, 2nd and 3rd were taken along Maligne Canyon last november, and the last one was in Drumheller this past labour day weekend.

And yes, I have all of them in full res on my computer at home.

That was a few kms further the same road as the hoodoos. It turns into a very mild trail and is quite a nice area. We didn't do any real wheeling while we were there, we mostly played tourists and visited the Tyrell museum and the atlas mines...

Thanks for the comments, the pool is actually about two feet higher than the surrounding deck and so, early in the morning before anyone gets into it, a nice reflection can be had. BTW, it is a great resort...
