just curious how many 08 S/D are here and what mods have you done to your truck
I got one no mods yet, Thinking of chipin it when I get er broke in.. Do you know what programmer will not be able to be seen at the deallers for warrenty work? looking at the edge evo

most programmers can be hidden before going to the stealership. just return to stock and leave it at home before you go. if you're looking at the edge, may i suggest the Gryphon? It's basically an edge that can be custom tuned for your truck and any modifications you have done. Check out www.powerhungryperformance.com.

No mods here but was told at the dealership they can be traced even if they have been removed? I may just wait untill my warranty is up.

i know on the gm's they have a back-up computer that tells them what the motors been doing, at least that what my friend from humberview has told me
They can't tell that you've been using a programmer, there will be a code that pops up, can't remember exactly what it is at the moment, but its the same one you get if you disconnect both batteries etc

Mods (installed): Banks dual exhaust, Bully Dog PMT
Mods (on order): Banks ram air kit
Mods (considering for next year (ie currently pricing out)): kelderman 4" lift, american force 22" independence wheels, 37x13.50x22 tires, DPF eliminator kit

I have gotten the box lined, built a custom sled deck, added a headache rack/rails and dry box.
I will be adding a 2-4 6" KC titanium slimlights in the fall and an SCT X3 programmer withen a few weeks.
Its used for towing horse trailers, boats, and hay; hauling two sleds with skimmers and gear; and my work as a construction site inspector and surveyor.

Just got myself a sweet 08 F250 SD Crew Cab. No mods, but planning on some new wheels, backup cam, maybe a cap and some lights!

08 F250 Highly modded and the Dealer Loves me! HE HE. I have a complete "Spartan" setup with DYNO'd 600+ RWHP. "Return to stock" What does that mean? Just kidding, I am way out of warranty so no worries here. 50,000 km with mods and no issues.

my old man has a 08 superduty an he is gonna order a sct programer

600+ on Spray i'm guessing?
Highest i've seen on #2 only is in the 590's with the 310 tune
regardless, I wish I had a 6.4!

Congrats, doooo it :icon_twisted: Just keep all your stock stuff so you can put it back to stock if you need to get any warranty work done

i just got an 08 F-350 SD dually i did trailer tow airbags and the under bed goseneck hitch, oh and a superchips programmer, thing works awesome if its even a little wet out in 4x4 if i launch it i can spin all 6 tires haha:icon_twisted:
