There is a severe resistance to rolling upon start-up, bad in summer- like the hand-brake is on and terrible in winter - like the wheels are frozen. (there is actually a clunk to "break" the truck free)
After a few hundred yards, things start to loosen up and after a mile or two, truck rolls freely (with clutch depressed).
Hand-brake if off. The brake-pads are not grabbing. The rear diff oil is new. The tires are inflated. Any ideas please.
