Anyone ever use them on a SD? I am very interested but just wanted to see what people who have used them have to say. One guy told me that he heard of guys having problems with ther computer after doing the cutouts, anyone else heard this? It is behind the driver side inner fender, could it possibly be relocated? (the computer)
There are lots of Superdutys that have them, no issues with computers of the sort. Only thing is you have to do some trimming around the fenders and you need a good size tire to fill it out.

I have seen people do them, there is a guy that I have seen on another site that did them and is running 36's ( think) and no lift. I have never heard of problems with the cutouts.

Sean you shouldn't have any problems running cutouts, I would think you should be able to fit bugger than 45's in there if you tried hard enough. Probaly a 37 would go in nicely maybe you have to get a aftermarket rim with alittle less backspacing to get the tire out a bit more?
I know a guys running 40" irocs with 4.5 inches of lift and the cutouts, looks good too

I'm just gonna go with some 36's, just wanted to hear that nobody has had problems after doing it. Thanks
Anyone know the stock backspacing?

I run them or used 2 honestly there waste of money There over rated / over priced and junk. as far as i'm concerened
positives on them yes you get more tire in ur wheel well thats it only positive i can think
of and looks yea they look good
negatives
availability order order order which means u might as well but 2 sets 1600.00 $$
cause remember cut-outs that means u cut ur fenders bigger if you break one ur waiting
cuting fender and box , yes ppl thats what it intails so not only do you better no some one or ur self thats good at it
cause I can guarntee you will warp cause creases dents but thats minor right. you will possibly not only wreck your fender / box ?? but cost you large
wireing remember ppl computors are in your sd fenders
80 percent of the shops that install them don't like 2
and charge you large to do it as well there usually installed wrong
also there a hard plastic which means rock chips cracking , weathering , with our climate you think hahaha.
So all in all do you really want them lets sumorize wackers 800.00
install 400.00
new rims/tires 2800.00
my thought just get a new lift and don't do it trust me think twice cut once cause onces shes cut there no going back ur done

I do want a 2-3" lift and I want to run a 36-37" tall tire so I'm just gonna lift it, buy the tires and go from there. If I need to trim to get them to fit I will do it. Of course this is only gonna happen by spring when the winter tires are due to come off, so lots of time for planning/research.
