Should be interesting to see how many they sell at that price, I'm still on the fence as to its looks...

ive priced from there website prin and take in with you.... before you let them know you did this ask them for a price on a truck with the options you want its always been lower at the dealer the website isnt to accurate at all and doesnt minus any rebates i think those prices are the absolute top price (minus the aftermarket cars like shelby 500's) which can go way above sticker

i'm not too impressed with it. i tried to build the same truck that i have now and to get anything other than the 3.55 open i had to select the 4.6 engine...or change the towing package i think. maybe i'll play around some more with it...

I find they are very expensive, and why is ford taking so long on a updated engine, most of the competition is around 400hp now.

i just went in and got a black book value for my new 08. they said worth 23000-25000. pretty depressing, considering it's a month old and i paid 38800 for it. i can see why people keep their trucks until they are paid off. you get nothing for resale value.:icon_cry:

Fords future V8 engine is alot like a Unicorn, everybodys heard about it but nobodys ever seen it:icon_rolleyes:. We have gone from 6.2 Boss engines to new 5.0 V8 engines and I am starting to really think that the 5.4 Triton may stay as the big V8 in Fords line up till the next FULL redesign of the F150 in 2013.
Ford has only comitted to V6 Ecco Boost and a 4.4l deisel for 2010 so I guess we will have to wait and see what they decide to do with the 5.4 come 2010. Although with Ford things change daily...

reading on another site, they're saying the 09 5.4 is only 310 hp and the same 365 tq. the E85 version is 320 hp and 390 tq. might as well keep the 04-08 version and pop in a programmer that will out do the new 09's in hp and tq. no need to really buy one unless you like the looks....

that swap's been done a few times eh? the older f150's. you'de have to build it up a bit tho. 230 hp and 390 tq is what the newer smaller v8's are doing now..and getting better mpg's. i had a 460 in my 90 f250 and loved it too. it was nice being able to accelerate in 5th gear:icon_lol: i got 19 mpg out of mine once. 290 miles on the 15 gallon tank. but mostly around 13-14 on the highway. not bad, but mpg's dropped when the 3" body and 35's went on:icon_lol:

I will be looking at a Platinum when Ford has there $10k rebate and 0% lease/finance on these not the 5 and 7 percent rates that are going on now with no real rebate.
$1250 to lease for 48mth and $1320 to buy for 60mth is way to much. You can get a Navigator for the same price.
