we just got a couple of 09 xlt's in today the interior is awesome but the jury is still out on the exterior styling,will have to see some of the higher optioned units before verdict.:)

I got the first 2009 F150 sold in Canada. Its a FX4 Supercab with the plus package.
Got the pics in my profile. I will post some pics of a black Lariat later today to my profile.

i like there looks.... the reg cab short boxes really look good and would look good either as a 4x4 jacked up or lowered:icon_cool:

I took an 09 Lariat Crewcab on a 600Km road trip the other day. All I can say is that my 06 Crewcab feels like driving a tempo compared to these new trucks. Ford did a real good job with the ride quality and powertrain on this truck. The new 6 speed tranny is a must have for sure. And who could pass on that awsome sony stereo with the big NAV screen. It kind of makes me what to trade my truck in for an 09 but I think I will just keep my truck since I dont want another car payment. Or if I find a rich wife I will buy one right away!

I saw my first 09 last week. Customer ordered a fiberglass lid. There only coming out at the end of november according to Leer and A.R.E.
So, if you need one order it now!

They have the same 5.4L 3V engine pushing 315 hp matched to a new 6 speed tranny.

We got an 09 FX4 crew loaded and it is a really nice truck. It is in the new Flame Blue color which is nice. We have had alot of lookers.

Has anybody seen a 2009 F-150 that is Oxford White Clear Coat in the toronto/mississauga area.

What trim level are you looking for. Whiteoak Ford has a few base models in that colour based on their website inventory

Saw a new 09 today, oh god no, interior is much nicer but what an ugly and not unoriginal style on the exterior. Disappointing, and I bleed blue. I hate to say it but I'd pick the new silverado over it anyday!

I test drove a 2009 Lariat Supercrew last week. The extra room is amazing and the seats are much better than in mine. Way more support on the sides. The Truck drove very nicely and had all the toys. When my dealer gets a Platinum in I will go for another test drive :icon_razz::icon_lol:

ford saying 2010 maybe,will probably see the 6.2 but i'm not sure of the diesel(something always comes up,they've been talking about it since 04)

This might be a slightly dumb question, does the 5.4L come with the new 6spd tranny? For instance, can you get the FX4 with the 6spd tranny?

All 5.4 trucks come with the 6spd tranny I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

will be signing the papers on my new 2009 FX4 SuperCrew in the morning, ever since our dealership started to get in the new trucks i have been fighting the urge to buy one, and yesterday i finally broke down, traded in the 2004 FX4 on the new one.
its a black SuperCrew FX4 with the FX4 Luxury package with 20" wheels, i will be putting on new BFG All Terrain TA's and the alarm system by Thursday hopefully i will be driving home Thursday night or Friday so i will try and post some pics asap.

I will do, i got the new tires on it today just need to put in the remote starter and alarm tomorrow after work and she is good to go,
i was playing around with new gen 2 nav system and sync it is absolutely amazing the changes Ford mad to the truck and trim packages makes the 09 heads and tails above all others.

XL 4x4 I did not want all the extra bells and whistles,I can do what ever I want later on I only ordered what I wanted on this model with a few extra factory ordered goodies.my dealers sales manager could not find one with options I wanted so I had to spec. order it better late than never !!!!!!!
All this waiting is gonna kill me though...........................................

got a minty candy apple in the yard just 2 weeks old. 09 4x4 supercrew. xlt with a few extras.. the bedroom door was not wide enough so now I sleep in the yard :)

We get quite a few through work heading for Vancouver Island... I can say one thing: they got a ton of power to spare!!! hahahahaha I've left a few sets of tire tracks around the yard with them. I like the new Mustangs as well, they're fun as hell. LR

my 14 year old son behind the wheel of a '09 XLT driving through some water, Michelin Tire switch out is only mod ..
notice the SCab '09 rides (a lot)harder (firmer) than my SCrew '06 with same wheel size and tires and pressure - my only complaint really
would like front end to be up about 1.5-2"
