I was messing around on the Ford website where you create your own package and I have a question about the fuel tank size with regards to the size of the box.
There is the option of a 5.5 ft box or the 6.5 ft box. If you get the 6.5 ft box, can you still get the smaller, 26gal fuel tank or does that only come in the 5.5 ft box?

why would you want the smaller tank? its not gonna give you better fuel mileage..

Because I would prefer a 98L tank rather then a 136L tank, that's why. It's a personal preference.
I know it's not going to give me better mileage, but thanks for pointing that out to me tips :icon_rolleyes:

No need to be an ass.. i was just wondering. I would rather have a larger tank. The less times i have to stop to fill up saves me time.. and its not something anyone can see.. so i was only wondering..
Cheers and good luck with the future purchase.

Sorry for being an ass. My old truck was 95L so I can relate to that size of a tank more then I can a 130+L tank. I just took your comment the wrong way and I apologize. I do know that a smaller tank isn't going to do anything for my mileage, and you're right, there are some people that don't realize that.
I don't see myself purchasing an 09, maybe a 2010, but in 2011, 2012...I can't afford brand new, not unless I hit the lottery.

No worries man, i just dont do sarcasm well. and i dont always see things the same way others do. As for buying a new truck, i would only ever buy New Old Stock. something thats a year or 2 old but still new.. the prices are far better than new.

Yeah, the prices have drastically dropped for the 07's and 08's from what I've seen advertised.
