Pic's of new FX4 and first impressions

well i finally got the truck done delivered and took some pics this morning, sorry for the quality but the diggi cam was dead so all i had was my iPhone.

but first about the truck, i will disclose my biais right now i have been a tech with Ford since 1997 and have loved the F150 since the first new body change.

and in that time i have owned a 97, 03, 04 and now new 09 F150 and the 09 is by far the best truck i have driven and owned, trying to compare the 09 to to my 04 just doesn't give the 09 enough credit it is so heads and tails above it, and my 04 was until now the best truck i have owned.

the ride quality and characteristics of the 09 is second to none and i have driven everything Ford and Lincoln have built from a Focus to GT40 since 97, the 09 F150 handles and drives like a luxury car from incredible quiet interior to smooth flawless transfer of power from the 5.4 and six speed transmission, the new electric locking diff works great, the addition of the advance track system and roll stability system almost eliminate the need to turn on the 4x4 in snow and icy roads, but all the while maintaining the feel and confidence of driving a full sized truck. new seats and interior make you feel like you are sitting in Lincoln MKS the seat just grabs and holds your body in a very natural comfortable position and with 10 way power adjustments i don't think there is a person who couldn't find their optimal sitting position.

add in to that the second gen nav system, sync, and Sonys 700w sound system you have with out a doubt the best entertainment package offered by anyone. my iPhone works flawlessly with sync and the Sound system and sound is amazing. well i could go on forever here so i will stop since i don't want to be blamed for someone falling asleep :) if you are thinking about getting out out of your current truck or just need a new one, you won't be disappointed with new 09 F150 and would fight tooth an nail with any chevy or dodge boys who think they have the best trucks on the market.

i like the looks of the 09's there pretty nice. tons of power and i love theshade black lol. its not a colour haha the rimsa are sweet the chrome around the tail lights are sweet.
only thing grill could be chrome :). other then that AMAZING truck

i'm still waiting on my 09 fx4 to get here. its stuck on the dock in north sydney nova scotia. the wind is slowing things down big time. my father and i have just bought two identical trucks. he got his on friday and its a beautiful truck. razor red with sterling grey on the bottom. my only complaint is the fact that on the only pickup ford designates as a OFFROAD pickup, the standard tire is a goodyear wrangler SR/A. and Very non aggresive all season tire. Anyway i cant wait to get my truck. thinkin i may end up missin my hemi, but dodge has gone all show and not ebought toughness. thier truck is not the work horse i need right now. anyone know where i can get a good bull bar?
