copy from the letter i received:

What is the issue?
Your vehicle may exhibit drivability concerns, including elevated idle during Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regeneration, minor cruise control speed fluctuation, automatic transmission shift quality, and a false Check Engine Indicator Light. In addition, some customers have advised Ford they would like to know when their vehicle is regenerating the Diesel Particulate Filter.

What Ford and your dealer will do for?

In the interest of customer satisfaction, Ford has authorized your dealer to reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Transmission Control Module (TCM) (automatic transmission only) and the Insturment Cluster (IC) free of charge under the terms of this program. This software will address the driveability concerns listed above and update the Instrument Cluster Message Center to display new information. For further details on how the new software will revise the message center.

my truck has exhibited the issues stated above, the two that bother me the most are shift quality and the malfunctioning speed control, my bully dog PMT already informs me when my truck is in DPF regen

Let us know how it goes, those would be two annoying problems, especially shift quality

Kevin:the reflash will address the concerns noted above plus i have noticed an increase in milage on most vehicles, when you take your truck in don't forget to set your pcm programming to stock and unhook the programmer or else the recalibration will render your bully unuseable after.
