79-80 Frame Differences?

Hey guys, I haven't been around for a while, but I stumbled across a great deal for my truck. I have an 80 F150, and I have the chance to get a 79 F100 with a built 460, C6 and boxed frame. What I need to know, is if the body from my 80 will fit on the 79 frame. I know that you can throw a frame from a 96 under the 78/9's, but thats all I know :icon_lol:

If the only difference is the cab mounts or something, thats okay.

I just need to know if this will work at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had one of each of these. The frame is wider on the 80 style than 79 style not sure how much
