Can anyone give me the lowdown on the new raptor? Is it a 4x4? It seems to be like a pre runner truck. Any info would help.

it is a 4x4. They had a simulator at the NAIAS which was awesome

You have a choice of the standard 5.4L V8 with 320hp and 390lb of torque and an optional 6.2L V8 400hp and 400lb of torque for engine choices.

Who in there right mind would buy this truck without the 6.2L V8??? I don't know why Ford would even offer it with the 5.4L V8...

i am pretty sure its because the Harley F150 is suppose to be the first truck to come with the 6.2L and i believe they want to make it a bit of exclusive for a while. but remember the 6.2L isn't going to be available until 2010.

the 6.2 will be available in december i heard. they ran it at the baja 1000 and it finished.. i posted 2 videos of it. i forget what forum though...?
