Might be a ball joint since you said it happens sometimes when you turn. Since Ford didn't think we actually NEEDED to grease them they do go bad after a while. If you have to get them replaced get the ones that have the Zirk grease fittings so you can grease them in the future. If its the ball joints you can go for a temp fix, they have these long needle type things, not sure of the name but you can use them to inject grease thru the rubber covering but it will leave a small hole, like I said its a temp fix.

Cover the hole with something like Sikaflex 291 and it shouldn't be a problem.

all front end ball joints were replaced about 2 years ago. do they go that quick? cause those bastards ain't cheap. could it be anything else? also only happens when its warm. started just before winter, then i took it off roading, and it stopped, figured maybe it was just something stuck, cause it stopped. but now that the weather is warming up a bit its back
