Hey all, I just wanted to let all those with a 1/2 ton short box know that you can now set up for 5th wheel towing safely. Two biggest problems with a 5-1/2ft box is ..........

hitting the cab while turning &

using a slider, having the weight behind the rear axle thus reducing the weight on the front wheels (cant turn well) and the weight you can pull.

Here is a product that works with a cam system. It keeps the weight in front of the rear axel where it should be, and as you turn it slides the the trailer back so it does not hit the cab then as you straighten up it bring it back. Here is a link to this

They sell these through Keystone of whom we are a master distributor of if any are interested in one.

That is the sort of set up I am looking for! I'll need to find a "reputable" dealer in the Ottawa area that wont trash my spray in box liner.

2 different Keystones, Keystone RV's are a Thor subsidiary building TT's. Keystone autotive parts are the guys that do alot of the aftermarket parts. They supply that thick cataloge that CTC, Van & Truck World etc. have
