Just curious, has anybody had egr problems with there 6L? Also, is just taking them out and cleaning them good enough or should they be replaced? Ive replaced 2 injectors that were toast and got truck to run perfect, almost. Still hesitation once in awhile. All filters changed ,all sensors checked. Beginning to wonder about this thing. And yes, have had computer uploaded with new software and turbo taken out and checked.
Best thing you can do is delete the egr, ends up causing nothing but problems. Most shops that deal with 6oh performance will sell egr delete kits, or even blocking it is better then nothing

Ya, i just read about something like that this morning, seems like a wise move. Will have to check what they go for $ wise. I cleaned the crud outta the old one but got this funny feeling that a new one is only way to go with these engines ,short of removing completely.
I pulled mine out and cleaned. Seems ok.

cleaning them is ok as long as that is the problem(have had problems with the position sensor inside of them)and if it is "coked"find whats causing that (misfires, excessive idle times, low eng operating temps).

Well, can tell when there is something happening, accelerate to 100kms at half throttle, look in the mirror and see the odd puff of blue exhaust. all injectors check out so wondering if that egr just being a POS.
