worked great in my parts truck before it was parked. Throw it in my truck and it doesn't move the truck at all!

what trans was in the truck to begin with?

originally was an E4OD then was a C6. Think torque convetors not seated all the way in
Hey Jim , most likey different final gear ratios, I would think the TQ would have to be bolted in correctly or it would not go together.
