ok so this past weekend i was in the falls with family and friends and
my cuzzin decides hes going to show me some trails i was like HELLS YEA andi get there and its filthy dirty so we played for a few (4) hours then headed home.
problem. my vacume is messed up for my 4x4 so now my front axel is lock in 4 wheel drive.
breaks, i borke 2 U joints and a auto locking hub .
it was worth it. and now i gotta fix it. :( all in all i'm
good to go no more 4x4in till shes fixed.
but still drive able :P
i have pictures on my phone and once i get them on my pc i'll share with all ya'll
any idea how to fix my front axel would be great thanks.

on the drive home i was getting thumbs up and ppl waving and laughin it was a great time.

well if you wanna save yourself some money convert your auto locking hubs to manual b/c other wise you are looking at tons of cash every time ur autolocking hubs break and the manual ones are stronger. as far as it being stuck in 4x4 i've never had that problem so i dunno about that.

what about swaping out the front rear diffs for something stronger ? or even just the front and match up the gears, say a solid axle swap ?
i went through countless auto hubs on the old bronco II at the time couldnt afford the $500+ warn conversion auto hubs were cheap from the wreckers $40 for 2 of them and then i snaped a halfshaft and it never did get fixed

if you go to a shop and ask them to do a SAS to a ranger your looking at $6000-10000 to have it done all and all.

I would buy the warn maual hubs before I paided the money for new auto hubs
