Hey MJG, what kind of numbers you run in the 1320, would be a good run against you, I should be high to mid 12's with the New Converter this year. Good luck on the contest and nice looking Gen ll.
I haven't ran the truck with my new mods. I should be putting down 440/520 when I'm retuned the end of this month.
If I can actually launch the thing well and the prep is good the truck is capable of low to mid 12s
My sig. times are with a 125 shot DRY and the HP/TQ are N/A at our local Dyno shop.
Sweet. I'd love to spray but that's putting me too close to the edge of throwing a rod.
Well working on a 351W based 393 Stroker for next year, should be 500 to 550 HP just on the motor and then we will see what else falls into place, feel free to go up on my Web Page and view the videos or the whole page and sign my Guest book.

Sounds good. The new motor project will be awesome!
I on the other hand won't be going built for some time. The motor and entire truck only has 24.5 k on it and I will be pushing the limits of the stock block as it is.
I'm just about to turn 24 and looking to buy a house, which means the built block and 3.4 whipple will have to wait til afterward!
I hear you, well if my wife was not with me on this then I would not be building either, and my 8 year old son is my Biggest fan lol. Ok going to let you go for now , so have a great day and good luck on the contest.

I had to vote for Kirk. He's the reason I built my motor after he kicked my ass with my 4.9
lol thanks Jim, I appreciate the vote, and yes we will have to have another go at it for sure, how are you getting those numbers out of that motor combo 302 HO ??

Seems ironic your posing in front of a very nice looking tower owned by GM :icon_razz:

GM bought it a few years back Cam. It used to be known as the Ren Cen
If we had a local Ford tower or anything like it I would have preferred to use it, but there is not, so either the Tower which is in Detroit Mi. or the Windsor, Casino which is on our side of the border, or at the race track at Grand Bend On where I race.

SWEET RIDES fellas!
No offence jdcrush, but I am a fan of pre '73 Rangers!
kidd, nice job on the GO FAST FORD! Love the idea of the 393 stroker.....when I had a '78 1/2 ton with a sixer in it, that is the motor i wanted to build for it. But my young family came first.
MJG, very, very nice! Sure would like to see the interior mods. Sounds like a bit of work, but I bet worth it!
My choice.........
even though I LOVE GO FAST FORDS, the slowest Gen ll Lighting in the world be my ride! Still would like to see MJG's interior mods, though!!
Thanks guys,

Thanks for the quick response.

None taken I love em too, When I get done with this build it will be an homage to the old rangers. I have an 84 ranger f150 for a work truck out in the country.
