it's a pre97 tranny Cam. Automatic Over Drive

actually it's more like pre 93ish. the aod used linkage between the throttle and transmission to control tv pressure and it was completley hydraulically controlled, the aode was next up, full of solenoids and an actual lockup clutch convertor, then the 4r70w.

yeah i googled some specs on some performance plates on the AOD, totally AWESOME!

originally my truck had an E4OD but it weighed a tonne and I wanted to eliminate weight
