Just layed it on hood to see what it looked like. Gives truck different attitude that's for sure. What color should i paint it though? Black or grey?

I like it.. I would do the paint the same color as the truck, and also color match the chrome bezel around the grille to macth the truck

Ditch it? Im actually tossed with the whole thing. but ya. if i go with it, was thinking black but that could be abit to in your face. As far as that darn besel. Ive been looking for a painted plastic one. This one i have is cast aluminum or something. Weird cuz my dads 08 has chrome plated plastic and i haven't had to many good experiences with painting over chrome.

If you're looking for honest opinions - I personally think its a touch much with the deflector personally. But thats merely my personal opinion! Gives it a mean looking stance though.

Yeah, I hear you on that one. Paint never seems to like sticking to chrome for very long, unless you strip it right down and prep it very well. Seems like it looks fine for a year or so then just starts peeling again. Rather annoying on a clean looking truck! LR

Yup you gotta point there about the deflector. Should pull it off tomorrow and see what that looks like. I guess it is either or, but maybe not both, thanks.

could look better if deflector was gone maybe.
just so many people around here have the stick on hood scoops. Not like that one. but the dual hood ones. on the roof. backwards every which way. Drives me nuts.

Ya, i hear you on that one. Seen so many different ways people have done the scoop thing. I would like an actual ram air hood but not in my budget. Oh well if i go with it ,it can be taken off. Fricken looks sweet on my f350 but got that damn ditch running down the centre of the hood on that truck. I guess thats why the guys put the 2 scoops on the super duty.

Scoop looks alright. Personally I'd go with the Roush Scoop, that's what I want to do in the near future.

If you like it I would go with gloss black, since you have so much black on your truck, actually if you went black wheels etc and deleted the chrome that would look sweet....im not for the stick on stuff, but you can make it look cool.

I put this one on for one day, took it for a ride and anything over 40k and the wind started to make it buckle in the centre. At a 100k i bet the centre was touching the hood. Off it came, lol

Mudflaps? whats wrong with my mudflaps? To see my truck in the city would be an extreme rare thing. I have only 7200k's on this truck. Rarely goes to city. My work truck is always to handy and this one just takes little drives once in awhile.
