Just lay it in. Comes with Velcro but you don't really need it as it stays in pretty good when tucked under the rails.
Lay it in with both sides of the Velcro attached to the rug. When you have it positioned perfect, pull back the rug to expose the Velcro and pull of the tape backing. Then carefully position the rug back in place. This way you get the one side of Velcro positioned in your bed properly.

To add to loosewheel:
- if you have an open box, you'll need more velcro than if you have a covered box.
For my first truck, I used all of the velcro they supplied (the long strips for the floor, probably a dozen pieces on each side + the front) but when I put it in my second truck I just used about 6 pieces around the top edge of the sides and front with no problems (I had a tonneau cover though)
Also in the second truck I used the tailgate access screws to hold the tailgate plate on instead of the velcro because the velcro never seemed to hold because of the uneven surfaces.
After having it in two trucks trying to keep it clean it's a cool product but I like my line-x way better :-)
