Search forum but can't find any topics on caps for over the 5.5 ft. box. Anyone research truck caps? What is the best bang for the buck and any suggestions of who to buy from for the best deals is central Ontario. Thanks for the info. Dave.

I bought a 6.5 foot Leer cap with level roof line in the spring. 1500 out the door.

I went with the Leer 6.5 foot high rise to give me more head clearance when using the tailgate step ... set me back over 2K with taxes.

Auto Trim in Barrie. Talk to Rick. Said I can have a Leer Cap for my 5.5 Box for $1250 plus taxes. That is painted and installed with front and two side sliders, third brake light, interior light.

I am looking for a Cap as well.Been looking at everything out there thats available within 50klicks. A Buddy got a Leer and in my opinon they can keep em. Was ordered for his truck and dont fit well at all.
For the money and quality, i ordered a Jason Topper.

Heh. I notice everyone from Ontario calls them "caps", and everyone out west calls them "canopies". Confused the hell out of me when I moved from Ontario! :icon_surprised:

I've heard them called "toppers" and "cabs" but I can't remember where.
Also check out the different spellings of tonneau for those covers.
It's like on snowmobiles, I have always called the front fiberglass piece the shroud,. In NB, they call it he cab.
Funny how that all works.
