Interesting ride home tonight, 1/shuttered like out of fuel, 2/had OD button pushed off it then turned back on by itself, 3/downshifted/up-shifted by itself@100km, 4/OD light flashing-check engine light came on-running on 4 or 5 cyl.-pulled over disconnect battery 10 min. hooked back up all good to go, 5/ 80km up-shifted then downshifted by itself, 6/got into town (Chatham) at red light did not idle down (2000rpm)going through town 7/when I pushed the OD button light came on but no gear change /8 got home put in park idle about 1800 rpm 9/ shut off -started so I may put in garage idle in park 1400 rpm then dropped to 1100 then put in gear to put in garage.

Anybody want to take a stab at the new developments.

Have tested the TPS and the resistance is linear so going to re-install, but I pulled the SuperChip and there were four pin sockets that were in the forced open position so got them to close up by cleaning, so the chip should be making full contact with all 28 points instead of only 24 when I re-install it.

On the plug to the computer is lose or dirty contacts. My old 91 used to do that run on about 4 cylinders when wet
