stuck in 4 lo

Hello. I have a 92 ford f150 4x4 auto tranny with autohubs and push botton 4x4. I can not get my transfercase to come out of 4 lo. If I push the 4x4 botton nothing will happen. I tried backing up and nothing. I check the fuse and it looks fine. Any one who can help me out with this will be great. Thanks

my buddy had the same problem with his 91. Turned out his transfer case was screwed

are the 4x4/4x4 low lamps flashing?if so it could be a module fault,i have seen a few shift motors go south,try removing shift motor on t/case and manually moving lever into gear(this will tell you if the t/case shift fork is ok)than switch t/case motor to see if that works useing 4x4 switch.

i would try the shift motor for the tcase.....

I got it fixed. turns out the T case motor was seized up. So I bought a new one :icon_biggrin:
